      Hi, regardless of which platform you use, all will have problems with hacking attempts – it’s just the way it is now. WordPress is probably no more vulnerable than others, perhaps even less so (….it’s just that there are literally millions of WordPress sites, so it might seem like the problem is with WordPress when in fact it is just that it is more popular). All webmasters need to educate his or her self in regards to website security, including folder permissions, htaccess etc, and also install security plugins or similar (for WordPress, I can recommend the excellent (and free) Bulletproof Security plugin – as well as other standard security precautions such as tightening folder permissions etc). Most hacked sites are simply due to the site not being updated regularly, or using outdated plugins or themes etc which may be vulnerable.
